Maintaining CDISC Education Learner Records

CDISC Education follows strict learner record security guidelines and will only release records to individual learners upon request of the learner. The CDISC Education Learner Record Privacy and Information Security Policy is listed below:

All CDISC learner personal information and training records will be restricted from public access. CDISC will never share learner contact details with any third party. CDISC Ed and its partners utilize a standardized and centralized record management system for filing and storing learner personal and training information. This system will assure ease of retrieval, availability and accessibility of the learner training record without sacrificing the confidentiality of the learner training information.

All CDISC learners can obtain a copy of their learner records by logging into their user accounts at learnstore.cdisc.org. Learners may also request a copy of their record by contacting CDISC Education (training@cdisc.org).

Learners can visit our learning management system’s security and privacy compliance page for more information regarding their privacy and security policies.

Student Records Information Code of Responsibility for CDISC Learner Representatives

• Learner information, including learning event information, which is provided to CDISC Education Representatives may not be used for any other purpose, or be passed on by the CDISC Learner Representatives to any other user.
• CDISC Learner Representatives are responsible for the security of all data to which they have access. This involves establishing policies/procedures regarding access security to electronic records, keeping disks or printouts in locked cabinets, periodically updating passwords, and ensuring that terminals are properly signed off when not in use.
• Confidential information regarding learners may not be released in any personally identifiable format without permission of the learner.
• In compliance with the guidelines in the CDISC Education Learner Record Privacy and Information Security Policy, CDISC Learner Representatives will take every precaution to protect the integrity of our student records and any release of academic information identifying a specific learner is prohibited

Requesting CDISC Education Learner Records

CDISC Education follows strict learner record security guidelines and will only release records to individual learners upon request of the learner. Follow the steps below in order to access your learner records and protect your privacy and records security:

Requesting your learner records by email

Using the email address listed in your account, please email requests for your learner record to CDISC Education (training@cdisc.org) and include the following information:

                Your Name

                Email Address

                Physical Address

                Organization Affiliation (if any)

               

A CDISC Education representative will respond with the requested record or reply with more information requirements.

Accessing your learner records online

You can obtain a copy of their learner records by logging into their user accounts at learnstore.cdisc.org. Follow the steps below to access your training records:

• Login into your account at learnstore.cdisc.org and access the “My Activities” section at the top of the page
• Select the “PET Records” page on the top right of the screen
• From the “PET Records” page you can:
  • View and print learning event certificates
  • View and print CEU record information
