IL-23 is one of the most validated targets in immunology, with clinical proof-of-concept data firmly established across psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and psoriatic arthritis. Multiple IL-23 inhibitors have been approved, demonstrating the potential safety of this treatment strategy.
AVR-001 builds on that foundation – it is engineered for higher, more consistent drug exposure and a longer half-life that potentially enables delivery in a convenient, once-weekly pill.
