How AI and Standards Work Together: Digital Data Flow Overview and Insights from the CDISC AI Innovation Protocol Challenge

Artificial intelligence (AI) and structured data standards are transforming how clinical research information is captured, exchanged, and analyzed. This session provides an overview of the TransCelerate Digital Data Flow (DDF) initiative and insights from the CDISC AI Innovation Challenge use case focused on enablement of USDM and digital protocol. Participants will gain insights from the CDISC AI Innovation Challenge, which demonstrated practical applications of AI technologies leveraging USDM-based digital protocols. The session will highlight the AI Challenge goals and lessons learned, and provide demonstrations for the challenge winner and runner up illustrating how integrating AI-driven tools with CDISC Standards accelerates digital transformation in clinical research.
