ClinChoice Team 

We love crossing paths with the ClinChoice team at industry events, especially our flagship CDISC Interchanges. We had the chance to catch up with a few ClinChoice teammates during the 2026 CDISC Europe Interchange in Milan. We met with industry veteran David Jackson, who in his past 12 years at ClinChoice has ascended from Principal Statistician to Associate Vice President of Biometrics. We also chatted with an industry newcomer, Ludovico Arcuri, who serves as Business Development Director for ClinChoice, having recently transitioned from being a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. Jackson and Arcuri shared with us a snapshot of their views on Membership, CDISC Standards, and CDISC Events.  

Best Part of Being A CDISC Member 

For ClinChoice, CDISC membership is not just about access, it is about staying aligned with a constantly evolving standards landscape and ensuring their teams remain ahead of industry expectations. As a global CRO supporting complex, multi-sponsor programs, maintaining this level of currency is essential. 

As David Jackson shares: 

“The pace at which CDISC updates and releases new standards is valuable to us. I meet with my team on a quarterly basis to review what has changed, understand the impact, and determine how we should move forward. Staying current is essential - we are continually adapting our processes to align with evolving standards and ensuring we remain responsive to our needs and those of our clients. For me, this ongoing support and evolution are key reasons we are members of CDISC.” 

This commitment to continuous alignment underscores the value CDISC brings to ClinChoice, not only as a standards organization, but as an active partner in helping teams translate change into action. 

Best Part of CDISC Standards 

At ClinChoice, CDISC Standards are embedded in the day-to-day work of delivering high-quality clinical data and regulatory submissions. They provide a consistent foundation that enables efficiency, scalability, and reliability across diverse programs and sponsors. 

Jackson emphasizes just how fundamental these standards are: “The team is using CDISC every day! SDTM and ADaM are absolute givens in everything that we do, as well as TMF structure. Standards are great for us as they allow us to develop more in-house efficiencies that can be used across all our sponsors. The advent of the USDM will hopefully create some more advances for us as well.” 

Looking ahead, innovations like the Unified Study Definitions Model (USDM) represent the next step in this evolution, enabling not only standardized data, but fully digital, end-to-end clinical study design and execution. 

In other words, USDM helps ClinChoice move from executing standardized data to delivering improved study design and fully standardized, digital clinical studies end-to-end. 

Best Part of CDISC Interchanges 

With fresh eyes on both the industry and CDISC Interchange, Ludovico Arcuri remarked on the warmth and sense of connection, describing the CDISC community as “tightly woven.” He noted the value of seeing familiar faces and building those relationships over time. 

Indeed, while many of the same bright minds return to our events year after year, there are always new voices joining the conversation - and, most importantly, new ideas to take back and apply in your work.
