How do I apply to become a CDISC Member?

Apply online through the CDISC website. Membership is subject to approval by CDISC.

Once we receive your online application, our Membership Team will provide you with a membership quote based on your selected level (Gold or Platinum). After confirming your preferred membership level, we will issue an invoice for payment.

Why should I become a CDISC Member?

While CDISC standards are available for free, becoming a member offers many additional benefits. As part of the CDISC member community, your organization gains exclusive access to a range of valuable resources, including early updates, training opportunities, and networking events. How do I determine my membership fee?

Level: Organizations select a membership level (Gold or Platinum) based on their size and needs. Membership rates are determined by the total number of employees in the organization. Upon application approval by the CDISC Membership and Leadership Team, an invoice will be issued for the annual membership fee. View CDISC Membership Levels here.

Company Size: CDISC membership is determined by the total number of employees in your organization, including all global offices and subsidiaries. We do not offer divisional memberships. When your organization joins CDISC, your company logo will be featured on our website, demonstrating your global commitment to CDISC standards. Even if only a few employees are actively using the standards, the entire organization benefits from membership.

Fees: Payment is required to activate membership benefits, and membership is valid for one year from the date of activation. Fees are payable annually and are subject to change. A portion of membership fees can be considered a donation and are tax-deductible. Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

What does the membership renewal process look like?

Process: Membership is renewed annually. Members will receive a renewal notice and accompanying invoice three months prior to the renewal date, a Secondary Renewal Reminder message one month prior to the renewal date, and a Past Due Reminder message after the renewal date. Membership continues upon payment of the renewal fee.

Termination: If a CDISC Member fails to pay their membership fees within 30 days of their renewal date, the member will be notified via email. If CDISC Membership dues remain unpaid for an additional 60 days (totaling 90 days from the original renewal date), the membership will be subject to termination and access to member benefits will be removed. CDISC reserves the right to terminate membership without further notice if payment is not received within this 90-day period. Reinstatement of membership after termination will require payment of all overdue amounts.
