Vaccination Administration Record Minimum Data Elements and Associated Metadata

CDISC invites you to submit comments on version 1.0 of the Vaccination Administration Record Minimum Data Elements and Associated Metadata during Public Review.

The Vaccination Administration Record Minimum Data Elements and Associated Metadata document provides public health implementers with direction on how to define and organize vaccination administration data elements in a database by providing the next level of metadata (data element metadata) to enable machine-readability, data sharing and semantic interoperability, with the added benefit of facilitating the flow of data for submission to global regulatory authorities. The data standard for a minimum set of data elements, has been informed by and mapped to international standards; these are not new data elements. The standard is intended to serve as a concrete common structure to facilitate data gathering, storage, processing, and sharing (by institutions and certified registries) in relation to vaccine inoculation/administration documentation.
