SHARE 2.0 Public Input

SHARE 2.0 is a major upgrade of the current SHARE model. It includes significant improvements, such as better separation of SENDSDTM, and ADaM from their implementation guides, the ability to map Therapeutic Area (TA) Standards to the Foundational Standards, and a link from Controlled Terminology to their appropriate standards. Additionally, SHARE 2.0 features new capabilities that cover QRS, conformance rules, TA standards, biomedical concepts, and traceability. SHARE 2.0 provides fully integrated, machine-readable CDISC Standards.

SHARE 2.0 has been designed using the W3C Resource Description Framework (RDF) and builds on the key concepts of the ISO 11179 standard for Metadata Registries (MDR).

CDISC invites you to provide input on the SHARE 2.0 model schema. The Public Input period runs until  19 May 2017 . The SHARE Team will consider input given and prioritize requests and suggestions for this release and future releases. We anticipate releasing SHARE 2.0 in 2018.

The CDISC SHARE 2.0 Model Schema and its Package are available for your access, review and input to CDISC. The Model may change in its final release based on input received; no production metadata are represented in this model. End users should not duplicate, translate or create derivative works of the draft Model.

The webinar link above showcases the enhancements and new content types that will be supported by SHARE 2.0 and serves as a resource for the public to provide input on the model.
