CDISC, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Level Seven (HL7), International Standards Organization (ISO) and the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) are pleased to announce the release of version 5.3 of the Biomedical Research Integrated Domain Group (BRIDG) Model is available for Public Review. Release 5.3 of the model is available for download at https://bridgmodel.nci.nih.gov/download-model/bridg-releases/release-5-3 and is a minor release that adds semantics from the National Biomedical Imaging Archive (NBIA) project from the US National Cancer Institute (NCI) and updates the harmonization of SDTM to SDTMIG v3.2. Additionally, new diagrams (views) were created and all the views now have a new functionality to download the meta-data reports for each diagram/view. Please see Section 2.6 in the BRIDG 5.3 User’s Guide for details on the NBIA and CDSIC SDTMIG 3.2 harmonization.
