Three C3C members, Dr. Zibao Zhang, Executive Director and John Wang, Associate Director from dMed Biopharmaceutical Co. Ltd. and I attended the CDISC Interchange in the US for the first time.
The night before the conference, we enjoyed Texas music, dance, barbecue and conversations with old and new friends.
Zibao (AP3C Chair) and John (C3C Vice Chair) gave updates from their respective committees to promote CDISC in Asia Pacific and China. Peter Van Reusel and I served as panelists during the session ‘Overview of CDISC in the World of Data Standards’ on the topic ‘Why: The Purpose and Benefit of Standards.
The C3C members were invited to the stage to discuss the future of CDISC in the final panel discussion chaired by Stephen Pyke, Chair-elect to the CDISC Board of Directors.

Zibao and John also presented during the CDISC Board meeting on their respective 3Cs and attended the CDISC Advisory Council (CAC) meeting before the conference. John attended the two-day training “Standards from the Start”.
Zibao and John’s company, dMed Biopharmaceuticals was the only company from China with an exhibitor booth at a CDISC Interchange They enjoyed the busy traffic and exchanged information with many attendees.

Many Chinese from all different parts of the world joined the conference. Some of us went out for dinner and took a photo in front of CDISC registration desk
We enjoyed the rich program and activities during the Interchange and truly appreciate CDISC for providing such an informative and inspirational conference.
