CDISC Operational Values

The CDISC values that are posted here were developed by CDISC Operations between September 2008 and April 2009. They are based on principles from the Economy of Communion: Those involved in the Economy of Communion are inspired by the principles of a culture which is different from the prevailing theory and practice of economics. This “culture” can be defined as the “culture of giving” which is the antithesis of a “culture of having”.

With the CDISC community, we will strive to work to these values in our everyday activities to enhance the way that CDISC operates, acting altruistically to contribute to the advancement of global healthcare.
