The Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers to make progress on its mission and strategic goals. However, there is a certain level of funding that is required for the administration of the CDISC functions and for providing facilitators with the appropriate expertise to lead and support the Working Teams. This funding is primarily provided through Benefactors, Sponsors, Members  and Associates of CDISC. Without its Benefactors, Sponsors, Members and Associates, CDISC would have been unable to make the progress demonstrated for the past eight years. Corporate memberships are contributions that are essential to the survival of the organization and the continued progress in developing worldwide data interchange standards to facilitate clinical research and clinical trial activities for biopharmaceutical product development.
